This 8-pack of blank square stretched canvases is made from 100% cotton. Each pre-primed white surface is ready to use straight away, letting you start sketching, laying down color and building your composition right away, works with acrylic, oil, gouache, tempera paints. Stretched over a solid wood frame, the canvases provide the depth and traditional feel of a premium painting surface, so you can paint from an easel or tabletop setup, then either display the finished piece on the frame or fit it into a compatible outer frame. The tight cotton texture offers just enough tooth for controlled brush strokes, dry brushing, palette-knife marks and layered texture, making it a more tactile option than paper, pads or thin flat boards.
