This is an interracial love story about a woman named Bernice, who went through alot of heart ache.. her husband gave her an STD, he cheated on her on numerous of occassions, one in which he cheated on her with her sister's husband who faked his death just to get a sex change. She was told that she couldn't have any children. After going through alot of drama, deception, abuse, and heart ache, she falls in love with her doctor, Dr Rosato. They have two children, in spite of her drug addicted mom's disapproval.
