Love and Women in Early Chinese Fiction

This book focuses on how women and love are portrayed in fiction, a genre of Chinese literature of the Tang dynasty. It argues that the emergence of "love" as a theme in Chinese literature is closely related to the historical background of the Tang dynasty.
