Lost In Paradise

Paul Howard, a successful travel writer and aspiring novelist, finds himself hopelessly lost deep in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains as he travels to an assignment. After hours of driving through the winding road, he stumbles across a small community and stops into the diner, one of the only signs of life, to get directions. While there, he decides to have a late lunch as the cook talks incessantly about the community and its history. Intrigued, Paul begins to think there may be some potential for another article and decides to stay to further investigate. What he finds is a close-knit community of good-hearted characters, each with his or her own quirks. Their often comical mannerisms and their daily lives endear them to Paul, and they welcome him with open arms. Though separated from the hectic pace of the ultra-modern world outside their community, their bond and ability to adapt have created a somewhat idyllic lifestyle. His stay is enhanced by unexpected romantic twists as he experiences life in Toad Suck Junction.
