Lost in Bliss: A Mother's Search for Her Son

At age 17 Andrew left home. His girlfriend's death still lay as a fog, haunting every conversation. Even with the party-drunk killer locked up, Andrew needed happiness. His mother drowned her thoughts by subbing at a local school while Stuart, a pastor in metro Detroit, believed that Andrew, like the prodigal son, would return home on his own time. Abbie and Stuart avoided mentioning Andrew. Two years later a few post cards were the only contact from their son. Then, on a friend's invitation, Abbie drives to northern Michigan and with a hint on Andrew's whereabouts, she finds herself on dark country roads, lost in dense woods with a dead battery and no phone service.
