is a collection of sixty poems intended to provide inspiration and enlightenment in the hearts and minds of its readers. The book is divided into three sections: Hear Your Soul, Another Day, and Heaven's Door. Several of the poems in the first section, including "Winds" and "The Morning," are reflections of the power of natural beauty upon the human soul. The poems "Completely" and "I Lost" contrast the emotions of finding and then losing love. As the title suggests, many of the poems of the second part of Another Day deal with daily issues of existence, including "The Ride," in which the speaker looks around a city bus and sees in the other passengers each of the stations of her life. In "The Hated Word," the author comes to grips with her mother's cancer. This poem is the perfect transition to the last part of the book, Heaven's Door, which is not merely a meditation on death but on loss as well. "Alone" explores the possibility of life after loss, and the collection closes with "Mom," which is a moving elegy for the poet's mother-to whom the book is dedicated.
