In My Dream In my dream I was awake Down by the water's edge And I could hear the river's prayers Asking for life when it reached its destination I saw the sunflowers following the sun Their heads bent down, heavy with life And I could hear their prayers Asking to give everything inside to life I sat on a large, curved rock, warm And cozy in the bright sunlight And I prayed, this time asking that I could Feel a closer part of all the other life I knew they were listening And we were all listening for God
