Oliver She teaches at a primary school where she resides and is eager to enroll into university, to complete her bachelor's degree in Education. She began her journey in 2011 after graduating from secondary school where she acquired 6 O level passes. She enrolled into Sixth Form Government School/ Polytechnic (Poly) where she obtained the Principal's award for tenacity and was recommended to be a part of Project Discovery Inc. During her time there she met Mrs. Rochelle Livingstone-Lewis, her music teacher, someone who unknown to her would have positively impacted her life in more ways than one. Sheilah is a current member of the Poly Alumni Choir which in itself brought great opportunities. In 2012 she sang in a mass Choir consisting of Bishop Anstey High School and Sixth Form Government School/ Polytechnic with award winning singer, song writer, record producer and actress Heather Headley for BGTT's charity concert at the National Academy of the Performing Arts. In 2017 she became a member of the St. James Church of the Nazarene after completing community service for Project Discovery Inc. Her hard work and dedication gave way to new chapters. Ms. Oliver presently sits on the Board of Directors of Project Discovery Trinidad and Tobago and is tasked with coordinating their upcoming Caribbean Youth Forum on Education and Development (CARYFED) programme in 2021. Sheilah's interactions at Poly and St James Church of the Nazarene paved the way for her impending success, and while she may have suffered great loses in her lifetime she has managed to use her pain as a source of strength and comfort for those around her. In her book 'Life with Rochelle' Ms. Oliver hopes to bring encouragement to persons who find difficulty healing from the pain of losing someone near and dear. She also seeks to remind us that from death comes hope, peace, and timeless lessons left behind to help guide us through our own journey. Dear Readers, This memoir seeks to encourage those of you who are going through a tough time in your own lives. Remember that there is someone out there that you may not have connected with as but their life depends on it. Though people come into our lives for a season, the lessons we learn from them are timeless.
