Lies and Consequences

Joe Allen was always brought up to be honest and reliable, but when three of his so-called best friends lied about him to the police, he started to realise that many people told lies and told them often! So, when his beloved Ruby was lied to her by her best friend, Jean, it took a long while for him to recover, as the outcome was to lose Ruby and her trust! What was he to do? Many years passed before he met up with one of his old friends, Colin Barker, who had also gone though a bad time in his life! The pair hoped somehow that life could only get better for them?
