Les Grands Succ¿¿s de Robert Charlebois, Vol. 2

In 1976, ' former label, , released a second two-LP set of material from the singer's five albums from 1967-1971: , , and . There is not a repeated track between the two sets and together they comprise all but seven of the songs released during that period. Most of ' radio hits were included in the first collection (released in 1972). So paradoxically this one lacks some of his best-known songs, but it includes the most interesting material from his period: album-oriented pieces like and including a healthy chunk from the 1968 . Still, this is a hodgepodge quickly and carelessly put together. The track sequencing is aleatory, the pressing cheap, the graphics sloppy, and information limited to song titles. ~ Francois Couture
