L'Aede et le geographe: Poesie et espace du monde a l'epoque premoderne in Bloomington, MN

This work demonstrates that the epic poetry of early modern France does more than embody national aspirations. The poets studied in this volume traffic in both topography and cosmography, thus elaborating a form of ecological thought.
