La Vie En Rose: A Novel

Adelaide White's favorite flower is a rose. She grew up seeing the world in rose-colored glasses. On her wrist is a tattoo of a rose with the words in cursive, "La Vie En Rose", translation, Life through rosy-glasses. She wanted to always remind herself how beautiful life was and to always remain a positive outlook. Growing up, her mother taught her this. She was always intrigued by the things that would make any human rattle. Adelaide was always certain of three things: First, she had a knack for investigating. Second, there was a part of her and she didn't know how vigorous that part could be, that she still loved Jay. And third, every family has skeletons. But above all those things, there was always one item that stood out the most-- a rose. This rose plays a signifcant part in Adelaide's life, but also in the lives of those around her.
