The Marines and Vietnamese soon find themselves pitted against Major Nghu, a sadistic North Vietnamese Army officer dedicated to wiping out the Marines and subjugating the South Vietnamese peasants. Leatherneck, the Magazine of Marines, called this novel, "A pleasure to read."
