Imagine, during the service, the armed police entered the Church, interrupted the service and walked through the rows, looking around as they were searching for someone, pointing a finger at you, saying, "get up and leave", because your child is sitting with you. Imagine our government forces you to take experimental drugs because you are a Christian. Because you are a Christian, imagine your children are not equal at school with other children, and nurses force your children to take experimental drugs without parental permission. Imagine our US government forces all inmates to take experimental drugs and they don't care if thousands of inmates die. Just stop and imagine this dictatorial lawlessness, this is exactly what happened to my family. It was the KGB's inhumane acts and American Government stopped this madness. This is my true story is about my family of 15 children. In USSR, we were tortured and abused by the KGB (Committee of State Security). My father did not obey the lawlessness of the Soviet KGB and he fought for our freedom! Christianity was under attack. The Soviet KGB was the biggest threat to religious Liberty for Christians who wanted to serve God freely. Christians were forced to renounce God and when they refused to renounce God, they were arrested, served in prisons, and many of them were tortured and even killed. I remember, living in the Soviet Union was a nightmare and it's hard to believe my story to those Christians who have never lived in the Soviet Union. Because my father was in the KGB's way, it falsely charged him with Anti-Soviet activities and accused him of being an American spy. After an unfair trial, the KGB sentenced my father indefinitely to a psychiatric prison. For seven years, my father was tortured with experimental drugs in one of the strictest Soviet psychiatric prisons and he spent his time with mass-murderers. The KGB had used bio-weapons and drug experiments on my father. Throughout it all, my father maintained his Faith, saying: "I have committed my way to the Lord. May His will be done. He alone knows what He has planned for me." My father survived that horror by the Mercy of God, his faith got stronger and he brought many lost prisoners to God. Our family became well known to the Christian Solidarity International and they launched the campaign for our family around the world. When US Congress, President Reagan and many people around the world found out my family's situation, they all wrote petitions to the Soviet government and demand to free my family from the tyrant. I found several books that support the truth of my story, written by United States Congress (For example, "the Case Study Book: Abuse of Psychiatry in the Soviet Union: Hearing Before Subcommittee on Human Rights and Internationals. In the book, Case studies on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedom: A World Survey also is written about our family's suffer. In 1986, President Gorbachev changed the Soviet regime by the policy of peaceful perestroika without any revenge. In spring 1987, Mr. Van Eeghen of Netherlands had a chance to speak to President Gorbachev and he demanded that our family be given freedom to leave the USSR and President Gorbachev gave us this permission. My family was allowed, with greatest exception, to enter the United States of America. It was a great privilege for our family that America had opened its doors for us and gave us a warm welcome to this Great Country, a Land of Freedom. The American people played a big key role in the liberation of my family from the USSR. This freedom was earned by the suffering and by blood of many strong and brave warriors. The Soviet's "Iron Curtain" fell and everyone is free. I believe that I have no right to be silent because people have right to know the truth. Galina V Andreyev (Khailo) My PayPal:
