Kazakhstani Cinematography: Historical Retrospective in Bloomington, MN

The monograph explores the artistic images of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstani people in the national feature films of the Soviet and modern periods. The peculiarities of the epoch and mentality of people reflected on the screen are studied. In parallel, the process of origin, formation and development of cinematography of Kazakhstan as a kind of national art is described.
