What was your inspiration for your children's short story in your series of Tales From Over The Moon?

Kassuku was our real family parrot, so the story of his life was in my head already.
I remember him with huge fondness. He was a delightful African Grey, born in the Ugandan jungle.
The facts about his life are true: his telling of African legends around a fire pit is, of course, part of Tales From Over The Moon!
