The characters in this book is a woman called Rebecca Marshall who's a woman with a boy of a 13 and a girl of 8. Rebecca does not know that she is a wizard in a past life, she has been called back to a land called Ektarr. In that life she is called Cassandra a woman warrior . She is the only person who can slay the beast which is a feat in itself and is quite admirable. Unannounced to her there are more personifications of evil with which she must deal with. She must face the wizard himself in the ultimate battle of good versus evil
