A story set in a dystopian future, in a world riddled by a deadly virus that has caused a severe pandemic and has forced humans to leave the planet Earth and seek refuge amongst starships. The story centers around the human race, of which 90% has been eliminated, on their last reserve. Humans are trying to find the cure to the virus by creating a vaccine; However, doing that requires research and dedication. The General in charge of the starship hovering over the Planet Earth sends down 50 men and 50 women back to the planet so that they could go back and look for a cure. The team tries to set up domes where they land to act as their housing units, providing them oxygen to breathe and survive. The Earth's atmosphere has become contaminated by harmful gasses and deadly organisms, making the planet inhospitable for human life. The team works towards setting up the domes to start the work on the cure, and in the process, one of the women goes missing leaving behind only 49 women. As the team progresses, Captain Kaffie, who is in charge of things on land, receives several things from General Mainfield, who is onboard the space ship and acts as a supervisor. At first, Kaffie does not know what to make of these things, but he decides to move forward with the guidelines he has been provided until lieutenant Kay arrives on Earth as a replacement for the woman who went missing. Kay is the General's daughter and has had experience serving in the army previously. The drones sent down by General Mainfield start to mess with the crew's minds and make them make love with one another in an attempt to encourage the crew to procreate. All the females on board become pregnant, which presents yet another problem that the crew must now deal with.Kay and Kaffie have had some history in the past, and the reader gets to know why things did not work out between them. However, when Kay tells Kaffie the truth about why she left him. Kaffie becomes furious and wishes to take revenge on the person who intervened in his relationship with Kay.Kay becomes pregnant with Kaffie's child and gives birth to a baby girl, and their love rekindles. They reveal to the crew the sinister intentions of the General, as he is trying to use the crew as an experiment to see whether the children of the crew are born with antibodies present in their blood plasma. Half the crew is furious and decides to take Kaffie and Kay's side, while the other half does not believe it. Kaffie and Kay make a plan to take their revenge while stopping the General from executing his plan that would lead to inevitable destruction and catastrophe. The story ends with Kay and Kaffie successfully executing their plan that ends up changing the General's mind about the whole situation and his outlook of Kay and Kaffie's relationship. Soon the cure is found, and Earth becomes virus-free due to the diligent efforts of Kay, Kaffie, and the rest of the hard-working crew.
