Justin Reade and the Frightening Mysteries

A small neighborhood in New York seems like a very dull place to begin a story. But imagine this. A black Porsche spies on a seemingly humble couple. Mr. and Mrs. Reade go about their daily activities oblivious to their already decided fate. The two men dressed in black seem to dampen the mood even more. Why? Then, Justin was nominated to participate in the Young Detective Competition at a so called Tortoise Island. However, horror lurks at his path once again. Finally, he pays a visit to the Louis family that seems to be cursed by a legendary instrument worth thousands, perhaps millions of dollars. Is there such a thing as a curse?
