Saving mankind from the nihilism of Siv Karzac, the pluriversal spy, and the narcissism of Horrible Horowitz, He Who Lives Up to His Name, takes our loving pair to Johnny Mercer, Mister Jesus of Neptune, Warner Brothers in the 40's, with Ormandy conducting Mahler at the Hollywood Bowl while UFOs chase each other merrily above them (and so do Newman and Sookie)... Can the Universe survive all this, and then some? Or will we be "clear out of this world," as Mercer has so presciently sung?
