This book, Jesus the king: A Paradigm for Liberation ( Christology of Luke's Gospal) explicates the compositional skill of the author Luke in composing the Gospal with the motif of Jesus' Kingship and its Christological significance, which connotes the people-economic and political attitude knock down the dominant values of imperial oppression and empower the aliented vulnerable Lukan community consisting of poor, outcast, victims of oppression, and eithnic, racial and gender discrimination. However, it brings forth the title 'King" given to colonizer but exhibits its power in spite of the humble image of Christ which is weak in power. Lukan Jesus carries neither glory nor respect, rather a mark of mockery and humaniliation and dishonour of Jesus as the King of the Jews as Liberator and Saviour King who subverts the rule of the powerful Emperor Caesar.
