This book is addressed to advanced learners of Italian and its principal aim is that of introducing to Italian Culture, together with widening lexical knowledge and vocabulary. The texts can be on art and literature, but also on popular actors and singers. They can space from Dante to Pinocchio, from Pirandello to Montalbano, from Modigliani to Anna Magnani (or Francesco Totti!). You will also have the chance of practising a bit of grama (for example: the use of 'passato remoto'). Every reading is followed by exercises and a final quiz (in the form of multiple choices) with all the relative solutions.
