Israel is a man in his mid-thirties who seeks to lift the curse upon himself. His search for a solution takes him to Veratti, a well-aged man who lives alone in the middle of nowhere. His discussion with Veratti results in nothing at first, as the old man claims he has no power to lift curses; but soon, he concedes that he knows of a way, one that will see Israel make a journey to a mountaintop where he will meet a stranger to guide him thereafter. Israel meets the stranger and sets off on another journey with him. On the way, when he digresses from the course, he crosses paths with Damon, whom he keeps meeting on the road behind the stranger's back. While Israel started the journey with thirteen bags, the stranger, supposedly helping him, takes from him two bags each at random stops; as the two keep bonding. On the other hand, Damon, who later joins them on the journey, doesn't want Israel to lose his bags, and soon, his influence gradually raises Israel's doubts about the stranger's true intention. As time goes by, the two men's motives begin to unfold. One wants to set him free from the curse, while the other wants to see that he remains cursed
