Ten years have passed since the vile forces of the villainous Black Duke came to his city, and destroyed it. In the decade since, the survivors of Pelsemoria have faced starvation, privation, predation, and the terror of knowing, one day, the Black Duke would return.
Now, one poor shepherd boy, Tomas Fidelis, begins an unlikely quest. He will bring to justice the Black Duke and all his wretched followers.
