Interconnection
, by Madison Ciero, is a riveting romance novel detailing the life of Connor Matthews, a young teen experiencing the throes of adolescence. Connor starts out as an indifferent, aloof young man – he doesn’t have many real friends and spends much of his time alone.
All of that changes when Connor meets his new neighbor, Kayleigh Adams. She’s everything he isn’t – fun, exciting, pushy, social, and it doesn’t hurt that she’s extremely attractive, either. Connor must overcome the extreme emotional turmoil that has rocked his core, starting with the death of his best friend, to learn to live his life without depression.
is a relatable novel about love, friendship, living with mental illness, and dealing with the struggles of everyday life.
About the Author
Author Madison Ciero has always enjoyed writing – it gives her comfort when things in her life become too chaotic. Taking creative writing classes and journaling are a couple of ways in which she works to expand her skills and balance her hectic life. Following in her father’s footsteps, she and her three siblings have all been playing soccer from a young age. Ms. Ciero is a huge fan of the sport and coached her town’s Parks and Recreation youth league for years. She based the character Daniel Adams in this novel on the personalities she saw in the children she coached.
