Special forces agent Jian (Ken Zheng) relies on a unique combined skill set of clairvoyance and martial arts to apprehend criminals. Yet while on a job in Los Angeles, the unexpected suicide of his brother sends him on a rogue journey. Believing his brother's death to be the result of foul play, the reclusive agent must recruit a plucky detective (Madeline Zima) to help him search for the truth, where he ultimately comes up against a tech magnate (Sean Patrick Flanery) intent on controlling Jian's unique abilities for his own gain.
