Inside Yoga

A journey through questions and a journey through symbols. The Asanas, the Yoga positions, besides being exercises that help mind and body find balance, energy, harmony and health, also represent philosophical ideas. , and sometimes this knowledge can be realised even simply by the observation of the asanas, if we use the right eyes. In this book, we played with pictures and words to let the reader without forcing concepts or without indulging in clichés that are too often repeated in yoga classes and in yoga books. Inside Yoga is an immersion into a state of mind, in an atmosphere. Together with the Norwegian photographer Erlend Reiersen, we used cameras, lights, and landscapes to communicate the yoga experience bypassing the analytical filters of the mind. Using the camera like a Zen calligrapher would use a brush, creating dialogues and playful Koans, both hermetic and candid.
