The present work deals with the evaluation of the industrial quarrying activity in sustainable development, particularly in the framework of sustainable development. From the geomorphological point of view, this activity presents irreversible damage to the environment in which it is practiced. Several actors are involved in industrial quarrying in West Cameroon, notably the State through its branches with a degree of involvement of about 43.84%, the operators with a degree of involvement of about 53.2% and the local residents with a degree of involvement of about 28.75%. This activity has a considerable impact despite its importance in the development of the territory in climate change in fact the data obtained in the field gives us about 2106 tons of CO2 per year for a single quarry related to fuel consumption or about 18954 for all quarries surveyed and about 580.56 tons of CO2 equivalent per year for a single quarry related to the shooting of felling or about 5225.04 tons of CO2 equivalent for all quarries surveyed.
