About Dr. Furhan Zubairi
Shaykh Furhan Zubairi began pursuing Islamic knowledge at the Institute of Knowledge (IOK) in 1998, memorizing the Qur'an and studying foundational Islamic sciences. He completed his B.S. in Biological Sciences at UC Irvine, continued Arabic studies in Egypt, and earned an 'Alimiyyah degree (Masters in Arabic and Islamic Studies) in Pakistan. He also holds multiple ijazat in hadith, certification in Islamic finance, and completed his PhD at the Islamic University of Malaysia in 2024. Shaykh Furhan now serves as Dean of IOK Seminary, a Seminary Instructor, and a University Chaplain at UC Irvine. He has authored numerous works on tafsir, hadith, and foundational Islamic disciplines.
