After seven years of bloodshed and butchery, during the Galactic Civil War, space is again at rest but divided. Buffer lines, separating the Realm and the Dominion, were skirted along the demarcation zone to insure peace. Their previous conflict, however, drained both sides of their natural resources and, to replenish their civilizations, they were forced to join forces to venture out into uncharted space in search of metallurgics and new waterways.
