: I wrote my story to help other people who are disabled. I want them to know that regardless of their limitations they can live some sort of a happy life. MY BIRTHI was born three months early. I guess I wanted to get out as soon as I could (lol) laughing out loud. I call myself A Miracle Baby a lot because I was.I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself. My Name is Stephanie Marie Moshier Barrett. I was born on the bathroom floor in my parent’s house on September 13, 1976. I had to be rushed to the hospital and the doctors didn't know if I was going to live. But I sure did. I weighed 1 pound 6 oz. I had to stay in Children’ Hospital for 6 months. My family came to visit me every day. I had so many things wrong with me. I had a bad heart. My eyes were crossed. I had problems breathing. I was so little. My parents came and saw me every day of the week. It was very hard for them to see me like that with tubes everywhere. I know that it would have been hard for me. I could only lay there and breathe.
