Pierre is a survivor of church sex abuse by the hands of a national former youth pastor named Lemuel Collins. Collins' childhood sexual abuse of Pierre Chambers stopped when Pierre disclosed Collins' sexual abuse to his parents. Collins' was arrested and subsequently pleaded guilty to seven of fifty counts of felony childhood sexual abuse and was sentenced to a six year state prison commitment to the California Department of Corrections.
