I Remember

A portrait of the artist as a young woman, this prose-poem by Sandra Wieser presents an extraordinarily evocative postcard to the world, from a sensitive child's younger years. The poem's speaker walks us through memories, some perhaps eerily familiar to many of us, even if entirely personal to the writer. Sandra's experience as a performance artist gives the writing an additional dramatic quality.
