The Ebook describes a series of hypotheses, in an attempt to account for a diversity of features characterizing neurodegeneration as a generic pathologic phenomenon. It attempts to coordinate a series of clinical and pathologic observations that would contribute to progressive incremental severity to phenomena of neuronal cell loss and tissue atrophy in the cerebral cortex.
