Swept into the underworld of the undead, vice cop Wendy Shaw finds herself transformed into a creature of myth and legend, and she really does not want to be. Now, this sassy, fire haired spitfire struggles to cope with the changes that have been forced upon her, and she must keep the secret that she is a fledgling vampire lest she be killed by the vampire aristocrats who enforce their laws.
