How Did You Know My Dad?: A Story of Bereavement Through The Eyes of a Child in Bloomington, MN

This is a children's book intended to address the bereavement and loss experienced by a child in the recent absence of a parent. The story begins as a young child attends the memorial services for his father. Filled with overwhelming grief, he begins to acquire information about his father by those in attendance. The young boy combines the stories he is told by his father's close childhood friend in order to shape his own personal memories of his now deceased father in this journey of mourning and acceptance.
