Cougars and snakes and...drug smugglers? Oh my! For Hal Davis the walk from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail was meant to be a relaxing journey of self discovery. What he got, however, was a tag-along rookie hiker from Indiana named Terra, a jilted ex-hiking companion and large carnivores protecting more than Yosemite wildflowers. For Hal and Terra, getting to Canada will have more obstacles than they could ever have imagined.
