Of all the commentaries on the Ars Poetica of Horace this one by Aulus Ianus Parrhasius is the least known one though it should be considered among the few best ones as that of Landinus, Ascensius, Lambinus, Frabricius, Luisinus, and Cruquius. We offer this translation as the first commentary and as the second volume in our explorating series of TRADITION & CULTURAL CONTRASTS.
