Homecoming: A Prodigal's Story

"Last call!" a gruff voice called over the loud speakers. "Place your final orders with your lovely waitresses." These words triggered a nightly ritual, one I could do without. The customers protested loudly, I had to dodge a flying bottle or two, and a couple of the girls got into a fight over last dance and tips. It wasn't the best job in the world, but it was all I had. Jesse hasn't had it easy, but things are about to take an unexpected turn.
