Written and directed by Lasse Hallström, the biographical drama chronicles the life of abstract artist Hilma af Klint. Hilma was born to a middle-class family. With a strong interest in mysticism, Hilma establishes a spiritual group called the Five. The group holds inspiring seances that stimulate Hilma's imagination to produce unique paintings.
