Heroes of Peace: A History of the Third Kentucky Infantry in the Spanish-American War

The Third Kentucky U.S. Volunteer Infantry was mobilized for the Spanish-American War. After months of training and several false starts the unit was sent to Cuba to serve as part of the Occupation Army. This is their regimental history with a roster of over 1,400 members of the unit.
