Heart on Fire: Poetry Collection

I have always loved writing, but poetry found me in my darkest moments. Art became a new love when desired love evaded me. Poetry and I have been together ever since. Using words transformed my negative and unprocessed feelings without a home of their own into a cozy cabin. Using words made me feel safe, strong, and powerful enough to overcome the most vigorous storms life offered me. I am a survivor of many things because of poetry.
