This book tells the story of Milo, a boy who has a genetic condition called Muscular Dystrophy, and how having Muscular Dystrophy is a lot like being a Rockstar. Muscular Dystrophy affects approximately 1 in every 3,500 people worldwide. This book is intended to serve as a way to communicate with children about Muscular Dystrophy, to embrace and foster acceptance of the human condition, and to help children understand what Muscular Dystrophy means for themselves or someone they know who is affected by this condition.
