Have Truck Will Travel tells the story of one man's futile efforts to keep the wolves from the door by driving trucks for a living and life in general as a General Haulage Driver. It's about the loneliness and the boredom of the open road. It's about what these so called Knights of the Road get up to on all those nights they spend away from home - never mind what they tell the boss (or the wife). And last but not least it's about the never ending battle of wits between the Driver and his Transport Manager in their dogged determination to get one over on each other. But please be warned - this is Donkey's tale. It's nitty, it's gritty and it's raw. so if you're the type of person who may take humbridge to bad language and scenes of raw sex and quite gratuitous violence, then please buy something else.
