This book borders on a subculture of the press in Nigeria: the Catholic Press. It is therefore a welcome intervention in an area of study that has been largely neglected in the literature of the Catholic Church and in religious propagation in general. In academia in Nigeria, there is a dearth of local books relevant to our local environment and through which we can search and understand ourselves. This modest attempt is devised to bridge the chasm.
