The Norse gods face the end of all things - Ragnarok. In an effort to save the Realms, Thor places his hammer in the care of a mortal named Liam, imbuing him with some of the god's powers. In his quest to prevent the end of days, Liam will team up with a berserk warrior, the descendent of a valkyrie, and a woman who bears a relic of Loki...but the Trickster watches their efforts through the eyes of this woman and seeks to counteract their every move. Will the unlikely group be able to prevent the Doom that has been foretold for millennia, or will they be forced to watch the world end in fire?
