Halfgrown Heroes is a wartime adventure of the Great Forest that concerns the partnership between wayward fifteen year old Jack Spriggins and Tylo, a wild stripling from a tree elf tribe. The two must put aside their differences to protect a general's daughter on her journey to a safe haven.
