A mysterious alien enlists the aid of Deanu to halt the Igigi intruders that have invaded his planet in search of ancient technology that can destroy worlds. Amun-Ra, an immortal Crystal Guardian, hails from a world and humanoid race long thought extinct. Deanu, Enkarath and E'jah join the mysterious stranger as they are once again drawn into a web of intrigue and danger as they battle with the malevolent Igigi Commander Tshrnau. Deanu struggles with herself as ancient memories of her connection to Amun-Ra suddenly surface, putting her relationship with Enkarath and E'jah in jeopardy.
