Grenfell Prodigy: An Orphan's Story

This book documents the Christian missionary basis of the work of Sir Wilfred Grenfell in Newfoundland. In particular, it focuses on his work to rescue children from desperate situations in Labrador which led to creation of an orphanage in St. Anthony.The author documents the help that he received from the Mission staff, who followed in the steps of Dr. Grenfell, welcoming him to the orphanage and providing an education which enabled him to become a medical doctor and consultant in pediatric Cardiology.
