Carbon steel legs arranged in an X pattern give this coffee table a 290 lb overall rating, well beyond what a slim frame usually manages. The 43 inch top takes 200 lbs on its own, and a full-width shelf below adds another 90 lbs for baskets and board games. Triangular reinforcing brackets and a bottom crossbar hold the frame square through daily use.
